We the Guardians wish to thank all who joined us and supported our mid-winter blowout!!
This is in memory of our dear Friend Paul. He was an Honorary Member of the Guardians USA Vets Blue & White, Inc. We will miss you Paul.
Look I won a prize.
Friends that came to have a good evening.
Below are just some of the tattoo's that were in the contest. We had a lot of nice tattoo's to look at, as you can see below.
Our Rememberance Table. To give you a short idea of what this represents. It is to recongnize our POW/MIA's. The table is set for one. That is because a member of the armed forces is missing. Symbloizing the fraility of one prisoner alone against his oppressors. Table cloth is white, symbolizing the purity. A single rose in a vase reminds us of the family and friends of our missing brother who keep faith while awaiting their return. The red ribbon tied on the vase reminds us of the red ribbon worn on the lapels and brothers who are not among us. A lemon on the plate reminds us of their bitter fate. Salt sprinked on the plate reminds us of the countless fallen tears of families as they wait. The glass is inverted - they can not toast with us. The cahir is empty- as they are not here. The candle is reminiscent of the light of hope which lives in our hearts to light the way home; away from their captors to the open arms of a greatful nation.
Oh look what am I doing, getting my first tattoo, a Marine Corps Bull Dog.
Here is another tattoo.
